Retirement

Adaptaspace is announcing the retirement of Hervé Boscher from Adaptaspace, effective today. Hervé was one of the founders of Adaptaspace in 2003, and it is with at the same time joy and sadness that we see him leaving the company.

Hervé has been in the control room industry his entire career and as Cam Renkas, Adaptaspace President, said today: “Good for You, Baaaad for all of us in this field”…

New Team Member

Adaptaspace is pleased to welcome Brian Collins into its Sales Team. Brian will be primarily involved with the sales of its products in Western Canada and the US West Coast. He will also provide support for International Sales as well as business development for the company.

Brian has considerable experience with the product development and sale of technical furniture for the 24/7 environment. He brings his considerable experience to Adaptaspace: Brian has worked for three of the major players in this industry for well over 20 years. His role in the industry includes sales, product development, project management and new business development.

Adaptaspace is proud to announce its most recent product development:

ClimatePlus™

a new Personal Environment Unit to give the operators easy controls for Dimmable Task Lights, Personal Fans, a Radiant Heat Panel, a Call Light, a White Noise Generator and Sit/Stand Controls. Each User Interface will be tailored to meet the specific needs of the customer. Equipped with an Occupancy Sensor, the unit will automatically switch off all functions after a pre-set time when the operator is away, and reset all functions to the same level after the operator returns to their console. Student Desks with retractable monitors, Instructor Stations, fully adjustable Lecterns, Video Conferencing tables, War Room Tables with a retractable monitors/laptops pod, are some of the products included in this new line of products. With a number of projects already completed, Adaptaspace is able to demonstrate the high quality and versatility of this product line. ANSI/BIFMA Testing

June 8, 2009

Adaptaspace GENESIS console has completed with success the tests specified under the new ANSI/BIFMA X5.5 – 2008 standard. The test results show that GENESIS largely exceeds the test requirements in all categories of tests. Please contact us to get a copy of the test results.

Customer Survey

March 9, 2009

Adaptaspace recently had a customer survey carried out by an independent company using their own standardized rating. The survey results show an overall 92% satisfaction rating, which is very high for this standardized survey. Best results for Adaptaspace are in the Quality of the Product and in the Business and Personnel Relationship categories of the survey. Thanks to all of those who responded to the survey.

Five Years

February 1, 2008

It will soon be 5 years (in May 2008) that Adaptaspace has started its operations. 5 very successful years, with growth that has lead us to move over one year ago from our original 3000 sq ft facility to a 12,000 sq ft brand new building. To date, Adaptaspace has completed well over 150 projects, many of them for customers who have repeatedly selected Adaptaspace as its preferred vendor of technical furniture. Network Operation Centers, Dispatch and Emergency Management Facilities, Process Control Operations, Traffic Management, Data Centers and Air Traffic Control are some of the various applications using Adaptaspace Genesis and Process Consoles. These have been shipped to many countries such as Canada, USA, China, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Russia, England, Singapore and Malaysia.
